Shib Ab & Posht Ab Region in Sistan

 

The project covered an area around 47,000ha and included irrigation canals, surface and sub surface drainage system, pump station and drainage ponds.

Block 3 in Sistan-Loewr Shib Ab

 

Covering 4577 ha including 41 km of open cut drainage canals with related structures and a pump station,all under construction.

Block 1,2,3,4 in Sistan-Loewr Posht Ab

 

Covering 6400 ha including 68 km of open cut drainage canals with related structures,all completed and commissioned.

Block 5,6 in Sistan-Loewr Posht Ab

 

Covering 9540 ha including 63.6 km of precast type 800 and 1000mm elliptical canals and the related structures, this project is under construction.

Block 5 in Sistan–Lower Shib Ab

 

Covering 3384 ha including 81 km of cast in place trapezoidal canals and pre cast elliptical canals, 40 km of open cut drainage canals and 320 km of sub surface drainage system including laterals and collectors ranging in diameter from 125 to 500 mm,pump station with a capacity OF 2.6 M3/S, 6.4 km of dikes for holding the drainage waters in a pond, 16.7 km of interceptor drainage canal and all the manholes and related structures,all completed and is under operation.

Block 4 in Sistan–Lower Shib Ab

 

Covering 2646 ha including 103 km of cast in place trapezoidal canals and pre cast elliptical canals, 40 km of open cut drainage canals and 202 km of sub surface laterals and collectors ranging in diameter from 125 to 350 mm with all the manholes and and related structures, has been completed and commissioned.

Sistan Water and Soil Resources Master Plan

 

The project intent is to review the existing projects and with the laters potentials, limitations, population changes,social and economical turn over, new policies and outlooks to come up with a master plan for the future development of the region.

Main Mill Mugan Collector Canal

 

This project was carried out for the republic of Azerbaijan under a loan agreement with the Islamic Development Bank, and it consisted of a 53.7 km canal with 110 m3/s capacity draining an area around 505 700 ha in south of Azerbaijan ,it also included a service road with rail road crossings and a a major siphon 400m long under the Aras River. The project has been completed and commissioned.

Khanark Canal I

 

This canal starts at the intake structure on Samur River at the border of Russia and the Republic of Azerbaijan with a capacity of 36-25 m3/s and a length of 37.3 km. The project was part of a loan agreement with the Islamic Development Bank,and it consisted of the canal, service road, over 18 bridges crossing rail road, over 18 bridges crossing rail road,highways and major rivers and all the related structures. This project has been completed and commissioned.

Khanark Canal II

 

This canal 30 km long is the continuation of part Ibringing water to the city of Baku and agricultural lands in the region. The project was part of a loan agreement with the Islamic Development Bank and the consultant and contractors were all selected under the Banks guidelines and supervision, the project consisted of the canal, service road , bridges, siphons, aqua ducts, chutes, turn outs,under passes major gas and oil pipeline crossings and all the related structures. The project has been completed and commissioned.

Bahu Kalat Irrigation and Drainage Project

 

Bahu Kalat plane is located in southern part of Iran near Chah Bahar with an area of 6000 ha. It includes a 7.5 km transfer canal bringing the water from Shir Govaz Diversion Dam to the area and all the primary, secondary and tertiary canals and drainage system.

Bampur Irrigation and Drainage Project

 

Bampur Irrigation Project in Southern Baluchistan covering an area of 4000 ha, including irrigation and drainage canals and all the related structures , all construction works are completed and commissioned.

Sirvan Transfer Line

 

This project is located in Wastern Iran bringing irrigation waters to several planes, total length of the line is 170 km with a capacity starting at 70 m3/s, it includes concrete canal, several tunnels, siphons and chutes.

Southern Khorasan Water Management

 

This study encompasses all the surface and ground water resources study was carried out and five major dams were identified for further investigation.

Bent and Fannuj Development

 

Covering an area around 18 000 sq.km in South West Baluchestan where a comprehensive water and soil development study was carried out ; resulting in identification of two storage dams and 12 000 ha of agricultural lands for further studies.

Gargaru Development

 

The fertile Dashiyary Plain in South Baluchistan was subject to severe soil erosion,to slow down this process a study was carried out. The end result of this study was the introduction of Nalint, West Lend, East Lend and Shi-Kalak Dams and 2500 ha of irrigable land.

Qir, Karzin, Afzar Regional Planning

 

After the sever earth quake in Fars Province this study was carried out to develop water vand soil resources of the region. Tang Galu Shir Dam on Qar–e–Aqaj River with two diversion dams were proposed to irrigate 5500 ha of agricultural lands.

South Baluchistan Development

 

This project encompassed Qasre–e–Qand, Nikshahr, Pishin And Negor Plains using ground water through a well system to irrigate around 1600 ha of fertile land.

Sarbaz Rask Valley Development

 

A 120 km stretch of Sarbaz River in South Eastern Baluchistan was studied to protect its embankments and identify and develop parcels of land suitable for agriculture.
